Cucumber Salad


It’s no big news that I love all kinds of salads. I don’t just like to eat them, I also like to photograph them. I like how salad bowls with different colors look on different surfaces, like different tables or different wood surfaces. But of course, it’s mainly about the salads because they look fresh and make great food photographs. The photo in this post was shot in my mother’s garden. Salad Time


You can probably find a lot of posts on my blog where I praise salads, but well, here we go again. I am a real fan of salads with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and so on. Grandma did it already, my mother too, and even I as a kitchen noob can do it because it’s just like slicing and throwing the ingredients into a big bowl (laugh). Weekly Photo Challenge: Vibrant


The theme of the recent WordPress Photo Challenge is about vibrant colors. I thought I would participate with a photo of a salad. I do not only like to eat salads, I do also like the colors of salads. I do usually add tomato, cucumber, lettuce and paprika to my salads, that means there are at least two vibrant colors, red and green, unless I add a paprika with a different colour like green or yellow.
