I had to search for a photo in my folders for the “Weekly Photo Challenge: Color” because as said, here in north germany is still everything full of snow. I found this flower here and I did shoot the photo last summer. I do think that the colors are pretty powerful and therefor I do think it is a good photo to participate in the challenge. My mother and me saw the first growing flowers of 2013 yesterday when we walked through downtown of Lübeck. Apart from the first sunbeams we enjoyed, this is a great sign too that Springtime is on the way. I think we have a lack of Vitamin D already and it is great to know that the weather warms up slowly. But I was bored and edited a few older photos. I came across the daisy photo and liked how differend effects did appeal on the image. Well, above you see the result of the edited photo. A lot of dead Flowers but one did survive. That´s what we found on our Journey through the Animal Park of Mölln. The Photo is in bad Quality and somewhat blurry but the Scene is cool anyhow. I mean it´s really funny that there are so many dead Flowers but one did survive. There was a Sign which said it is a Common Foxglove, Lady´s Glove or Purple Foxglove (These are the Translations I found from german to english). I was suprised that the Flower is called Purple Foxglove as the Flower is white. I noticed these Leafhoppers on a Plant when I visited my Grandma and Grandpa in the Nature on their Campground in Salem Germany. I am not sure about the Plant. When I remember right, my Grandpa said it is a Rhododendron. What do you think? I am right? Is it a Rhododendron? EDIT: Big thanks goes to Alice… She gave me the Information that the Plant is definitely a Rhododendron. This Flower with the Raindrops on it is pretty beautiful. I thought this Photo is worth to be shared.. Anyway I am somewhat unhappy because I maybe badly messed around with the color corrections this time. I think the colors are looking somewhat agressive. I am not sure. What do you think?
