Raindrops on a purple Flower

raindropsonapurpleflower2

This Flower with the Raindrops on it is pretty beautiful. I thought this Photo is worth to be shared.. Anyway I am somewhat unhappy because I maybe badly messed around with the color corrections this time. I think the colors are looking somewhat agressive. I am not sure. What do you think?

You can find more Flower Photos on my Blog.

  1. The color adjustments all depend on whether you’re trying to be realistic or following a dream state. For a bit of perspective, imagine yourself a painter.
I find it quite lovely, by the way.

    1. Thank you for the nice and inspiring words 🙂 If I think about it today, your right. It´s the fun thing that we can experiment with the pictures to see differend results. Playing with color adjustments can be a lot of fun. Sometimes you have photos you would delete but it´s often possible to fix the bad pictures with color adjustments. Yesterday I just thought I added to much contrast on this photo here. But I was tired and if I see it today… it´s really ok. 🙂

      Greetings

    1. I found your red rose with raindrops 🙂 That is a beautiful photo. 🙂 Flowers are always great but you sometimes notice more details and colors when you take photos of them and when you see the scene again on your computer. I like that. I think thats why so many people capture them 🙂

    1. Thanks Chris. I first didnt know what you mean but asked google picture search for Fuji Velvia. I think I now know what you mean.

My original image was pretty bad and pale but I played with photoshop and this here was the result. At that time I was a little bit unhappy but I discovered this photo and my old blogpost and thought it is not bad at all and shared it.

      Thank you for the opinion.
