Above you can see a “macro shot” of a hole in a lemon. The lemon with flaws does not look tasty but from artistic point of view, it is a great subject. The nature can be very abstract too. Springtime is good as we know can shoot some new and more colourful photos. Nature blooms and there are new subjects to discover with our cameras. I found this berry on my way while enjoying the first sunbeams outside. I really like the colours of the berry. But I am not sure what kind of berry it is. I took the image above while wandering and enjoying the first spring sunbeams. I saw this rusty blue metal fence and thought I try to shoot a macro image with my digital camera. I am not that much happy as the image is blurred where it shouldn´t be. But it is not too bad I think. Rusty metal can really have some special colors and can really look fancy. What do you think? I did talk about the guitar plaster already but the image above shows some of the wounds of my guitar. I do really like how much details my “abandoned” and cheap Medion camera can show. For this price it is really not a bad camera. The camera has something like a macro mode. You still can´t compare it with professional cameras or macro lenses but as said, for a cheap digital camera it is not too bad. Sometimes you can shoot great close up images with the camera. I had a hard time to find a nice scene for the Photo Challenge of this week with the motto Abandoned. I thought I would take photos of some abandoned buildings here in Lübeck. But I remembered that I did this already and I was a little bit stressed this week, so that I didn´t want to walk through my city. But I found an abandoned object. I found this beautiful pink flower on grandma´s campground. I loved the colour and the shape of the flower and had to take photos. I increased the contrast of the image a lot with Photoshop when I came home from our trip to the nature. I also made a lens correction and added a vignette effect. Now I do think the images are looking nice. Photos are taken with a Sony Xperia P Smartphone Camera. What do you think about the images?
