Deer In The Forest

I shot the two above yesterday in the morning during my hike through a forest. I saw deer but the first photos didn’t turn out well as I really didn’t expect to see them. But then I was more attentive, and around 10 minutes later I saw deer again, I shot the two photos you can see in this post. Beautiful Eurasian Coot

In the photo above you can see an Eurasian coot, I shot the photo near a pond when I walked through the parks. I believe it’s the first time that I took a photo of an Eurasian coot, or the first time I uploaded one to my blog. It’s good to have some other bird photos uploaded to the blog, although it’s sad that we don’t have so much colourful birds in Germany, our birds are rather common and not so paradisiacal, but still beautiful I think. Cute Chicken

Above you see a photo that shows one of our chickens. Chickens are not the type of animals that are called cute very often, not so often like cats, dogs or other pets, but the more I saw our chickens, the more I thought they do actually look cute too. I like them so much because the sounds they make are funny and when I enter our chicken enclosure, they follow me with each step. I do also like the picture I shot, I hope you do like it too. Squirrel On A Tree Branch

Here is another photo I took two weeks ago or so. I think the photo is good enough to upload it but overall I am not satisfied with the quality. The squirrel was too far away and I had to crop the photo to get closer to the squirrel. Cropping does often work very well but I think the image in this post is a little too noisy. I tried to reduce noise with Lightroom but then it looked too blurred. However, it’s not too bad, you can at least see the squirrel very well. Continue reading Squirrel On A Tree Branch

Bunny With Blue Eyes

My half-brother is here on a visit and I mentioned it anywhere else, he has all kind of small animals like mice, bunnies and so. This time he didn’t come for a visit without his bunnies. He did let them run in our garden, I thought this would be crazy even if the garden is fenced, but he said he would do that at home in his garden too.
