Common Blackbird Photo

It’s some weeks ago when I took the photo you see in this post, I actually thought that I need to delete the image. The photo was bad as I couldn’t zoom in enough to show the bird but today I noticed that the photo was sharp enough even after cropping with Photoshop. The result is that I can now basically show you the photo as if I would have had a tele lens on my camera. I think the bird should be a common blackbird, they have orange beaks and orange rings around the eyes. Continue reading Common Blackbird Photo

New Resident In The Garden

Apart from the chickens, the husband of my mother also got a rooster from a farm now. Today I was in the garden and saw all the poultry, they are funny. It was a cloudy day and not really the best weather to take photos handheld. Apart from that, I do think that the poultry doesn’t look very photogenic yet, it will take some time until they replaced the feathers. Duck Waiting Near The Water

Here is another shot of a duck. I have not much photos of ducks on my blog but I think this number will increase as I do really enjoy to take pictures of birds with the new camera. By the way, the duck on the photo should be the same as the duck on the photo I used for the recent photo challenge, both photos are taken on the same day. I did take plenty of photos near the pond.
