Curious Kitty

I found this picture of my cat Shyna in my library and I was pretty unhappy with the colors. You maybe know this, you want to take a picture inside and you don’t have a flash unit yet, and you take the photo anyway but the image gets this orange or red tone of the artificial light in your living room. Outdoor Cat

I found the picture above in my library. I shot the photo in 2015 after a hike through the Schellbruch area in Lübeck. The quality is not the best because I heavily cropped the image. But I think it’s not too bad. I like to take pictures of cats when I see them outside. I am always happy if I see a cat and if I have my camera in my hands. Black Cat

Right now I do pay a bit more attention to the bad photos I shot. With bad I don’t mean that they are horribly framed or anything, but sometimes you had your camera set wrong and you notice it at home when you see the overblown highlights or whatever. Other times it’s just that the lightning was bad during the day, which results in dull colors. Good Night

Tired cats do always find a place to sleep. I thought I show you a photo of my cat Shyna again. I pretty much liked the colored version, but in black and white it worked even better. I decided to convert the photo to black and white because due to the closed red curtain in my living room, there was a heavy reddish tone in the photo.
