Rettich

This is incredibly tasty, we call it “Rettich” in Germany. I actually tried to translate it but found out it is called “radish” in English, which is strange. Why? Because it seems the same word is used for another type of vegetables, the one we call Radieschen. I have no clue why “Radieschen” and “Rettich” are both called “radish” in English. Yes, they taste similar but they look very different. How do you distinguish if someone sends you to purchase “radish”? Continue reading Rettich

An Old Friend

I shot the photo at the top today but some of you might already know this cat. Yes, I’ve seen that cat already once. Maybe I am wrong but it looks like the same cat. Today I walked through the garden area again and if this is the same cat, I found it about one kilometer away from the previous place. I had water with me but it … Continue reading An Old Friend

Rock Balancing

I still have other photos. Maybe it’s where some people meet to do this activity or someone went nuts and couldn’t stop balancing stones (lol). Maybe it was a Monk, we will never know. All I know is … Continue reading Rock Balancing

Minimalist Scene

There have been moments where I didn’t trust my eyes because the head of a dear popped out of the field. But usually, I wasn’t fast enough to take the photo. But these moments were beautiful nonetheless and I really needed those moments because beside them, the reason why I was there was pretty sad as my uncle got terminal ill at that time and died later. I wouldn’t have been a help if I … Continue reading Minimalist Scene
