I mentioned some time ago that I had problems with my jaw after a dental treatment. The problem was called “Trismus” and I also mentioned that I had to visit the physiotherapist. At first I was very sceptical. I had two appointments each weeks and it is funny how time flies. I think I have now twenty appointments behind me and won´t need more. First Physiotherapy Behind Me


On monday I had my first Physiotherapy behind me, as planned. That was somewhat strange! I did get a therapeutic massage near my jaw to relax the jaw musculature. This was good and I noticed that it helped a little bit but then came the strange part as the doctor had gloves and he went into my mouth with his hand to massage the jaw musculature from the inside. Physiotherapy Next Monday


I mentioned that I have problems with my jaw since a dental treatment and today I visited the oral surgeon again. They did measure how I can open my mouth and they said I would only be able to open my mouth 15 millimeter. The doctor said that they had problems to open my mouth while the dental treatment (I was sedated) over a month ago and today they said that they did manually open my mouth while the treatment at that time.
