Beautiful Herring Gull

In Lübeck close to the Trave River, I usually find lots of Herring Gulls. While I prefer to find less common birds, it’s not always possible, especially not in the city or in the districts here. It doesn’t matter a lot to me, because I like common photo subjects as well, and this included gulls, ducks, or blackbirds. Check out my other bird photos if you like to see different ones. European Herring Gull Enjoying The Rain

I shot the photo of the European herring gull yesterday when I drove to Travemünde with a friend. As mentioned in a previous post, it became rainy as soon as we arrived. Nope, I won´t write about the game Angry Birds now and I also think that I won´t show you any angry birds that attack someone like in the movie “The Birds” of Alfred Hitchcock. To be honest, the title “Angry Birds” might still fit to my post. We bought a bratwurst with a bun in Travemünde. Then … Continue reading Angry Birds Attack…

Weekly Photo Challenge: Lost in the Details

This collection of seagull photos is my contribution to the Weekly Photo Challenge: Lost in the Details. We took these photos on the baltic coast in Travemünde (North Germany). I do think the photos fit to the photo challenge because they are close-up photos of the seagulls and I do think you can see a lot of details on the photo because the seagulls flown by pretty close. I really dislike self-praise but this time I have to say that the photos are simply awesome. But I do think we should thank the birds 🙂 I also would like to … Continue reading Weekly Photo Challenge: Lost in the Details
