The title of this post is maybe a bit exaggerated, but I called it “Battle-scarred Tuxedo” because the cat in the photo above looks like it was involved in a brawl or two. The nose looks battered, and it appears like the cat has some kind of battle scar below one of the eyes. Also, this cat doesn’t exactly make the impression to be welcoming. I think it’s cat week here on my blog, that’s at least what you could think after I challenged myself to get more cat photos for my blog. As I mentioned, I was strolling through the garden areas as there is a good chance to find outdoor cats and stray cats. It’s not always possible to find them but there is a good chance I will. Today I shot a photo of my cat Shyna with my Tamron 70-300 lens. It’s usually the lens that I use when I try to take photos of birds outside, but I noticed several times that it also can be very well used to take portraits.
