This comes a bit late but I wanted to wish you all a happy new year. This year I was visiting grandma, grandpa and my uncle, and later I visited my mother and her husband. We also had guests from Stuttgart, my half-sister and her boyfriend. They came with a raclette grill and everything you need for it. Since I visited my grandma, grandpa and my uncle first, I came a bit late but when I went to my mother, they had the raclette grill still turned on. You can eat from it the whole evening, which means I ate some of the tasty things as well…

After we ate, we opened some liquors. I usually don’t drink that much anymore, but the whisky did taste so great that I drank a bit too much. That means I had a very horrible hangover the next day. Lesson learned again. I think I prefer it like I did it the year before, just drinking one glass of champagne and doing photography with a clear head. This year I didn’t take any photos, I just got the photos of the raclette that my mother shot with her phone. It was still a celebration that I enjoyed, but the day after was pretty awful (laugh).
