Cat’s Tongue

I usually upload my most recent photos, but often I forget that I have an incredible huge amount of older photos that I didn’t upload yet. As I am only in the mood for short blog posts, I decided to upload one of my older pictures. I found this funny photo of my cat Shyna, where she shows her tongue, and I thought this would be something cool to share. I shot the photo right after I purchased my first DSLR, basically when I started to try out my new camera. The photo was taken when my cat enjoyed a … Continue reading Cat’s Tongue

White Forest Flowers

Six days ago, we already hat perfect summer weather and I went into the small local forests for an hour every day. The whole forest floor changed a lot and is now extremely beautiful. I noticed beautiful white forest flowers by the wayside, the ones that you can see in my photo. I am actually not that sure how often I took a photo of this plant on my way last week, but I know it’ll be enough to annoy you with several single photo posts of this plant in the future. I tried to research the name of the … Continue reading White Forest Flowers

Somewhere In Reinfeld

Here is a photo I have taken somewhere outside of Reinfeld, and you can even see the town in the background. I’d say the place is very beautiful, but I am actually not that sure anymore if I ever want to visit the place again if the worst case occurs, now that my uncle’s diagnosis changed. I try not to think too much about the future, but it’s not easy to put these thoughts aside. I am really not sure if I will connect this place with bad or good feelings in the future, I am really not sure. My … Continue reading Somewhere In Reinfeld

This Is Something We Didn’t Want To Hear

I actually planned to show you some of the photos I shot during my hikes, and I maybe will do this the days or in the evening to distract myself, but now I am still a bit sad. As I wrote in another post, my uncle got diagnosed with Oligoastrocytoma WHO Grade III, but yesterday we got another shock, they changed the diagnosis and told us that it is a Glioblastoma Multiforme WHO Grade IV. I can not tell you how sad I was when I heard that, because due to all the reading, I am very aware what that … Continue reading This Is Something We Didn’t Want To Hear

Talking With A Farmer

Today I was outside again, and I took the paths through the small forests, around the ponds, and over fields. Close to a farm (not the one in the photo) near a small forest, I watched over the fields and into the sky, because I was looking for bird of prey, and then a farmer greeted me and asked if I would look for birds. The farmer was very old and friendly, and I told him that I was looking for bird of prey, and he replied that this area is perfect if I want to find them, and he … Continue reading Talking With A Farmer
