Here is a cityscape I shot a while ago. Of course, it is my hometown Lübeck. There is also the St. Mary’s church visible in the picture, as same as the Trave river. Here is another photo that is already 5 years old. I like abandoned places or lost places but we don’t have too many of those places in our city, which is why I don’t take these photos regularly. The building I photographed looked quite spooky and I am glad that I took photos of it because they demolished the building one or two years ago. Here is another experimental photo I shot with my 40mm macro lens. I saw the small foam bubbles in my dishwater and thought this could be a great macro subject. So, I attached the 40mm lens to my camera and took some photos but I think the image at the top is the best one. I shot the photo late and used higher ISO settings. But I attached a paper to my lens in front of the flashlight with elastic bands to make the flash bounce off the walls. Two days ago I was bored and experimented with my 40mm macro lens. I thought it would be fun to feed my cat Shyna and get a macro close-up photo of her. It was late in the evening and the lights in my living room aren’t exactly bright. So, I did use some high ISO settings. But the result was a photo with dull colors due to the artificial lighting. This is just an experimental close-up photo of some muffins. My cousin likes to bake them and everyone in the family likes to eat them. The photo was shot with my 40mm macro lens.
