Yellow and Red

I thought I do a photo post about colors today. I decided to upload the picture because I like how the two colors work together. I shot the photo a while ago in my living room. I have a red curtain and in the middle, I hung up a yellow paper lantern. A year later I threw the paper lantern away because it had a lot of dust on it and then I hung up a white lantern as I still had one of these. White looked great too as a contrast to the red curtain. Today, I still have … Continue reading Yellow and Red

Smiley

Here is another old photo. Also shot with my Sony Xperia P back then. I think the scribbled smiley isn’t impressive but funny. But I probably liked how grungy the wall looked like. The photo however only looked great in black and white because it made the wall textures become more apparent. It actually looked a lot more grungy in black and white. Continue reading Smiley

Lübeck in Black and White

Here is an older photo. I shot this photo of Lübeck in 2013 with my Sony Xperia P phone. Honestly, the colored photo looked dull and I decided to try different black and white settings. I want to have a place for them too and don’t like it if I don’t make use of them. So, that’s why I share older photos … Continue reading Lübeck in Black and White

Don’t Catch Me Human

It’s a bit unsharp but I still like the whole action scene. He’s really a dog where you can practice these kind of action shots because he’s always full of energy. But right, so many dogs are. Do you think the photo is funny? Continue reading Don’t Catch Me Human

Pulled Beef

Here is a photo I shot when my uncle was still lived. One day we tried pulled beef and since then he wanted to eat it regularly at least once a week. He always looked so amazed and when I watched him eating it felt like he forgot that he had a Glioblastoma IV diagnosis. I liked these moments because it was a difficult time. So, whenever we found something that would make him happy, we did all the best to do it again. The food you see in the picture is pulled beef with potato croquettes and tzatziki. And … Continue reading Pulled Beef
