Lonely Crow

A photo of a lonely crow on a field. While the photo is not extremely special, I do however like minimalist photos with not too much things going on in the image. I shot the photo during a hike through a small forest, and outside of the forest was the field you see in the picture. I saw that crow and decided to take a photo at 300mm, which is why it somehow looks compressed. But as said, I like that. I hope you too. There are more photos of birds on my blog. Wooden Path

Above is a photo that I shot some time ago in Reinfeld. It can be a bit swampy around the Herrenteich. That’s why they did build a wooden path there. There are also boards with information’s about the swamp and that it’s a habitat for certain animals and insects. So, I do think the wooden path is not just there to protect people, but also to protect the habitat. Talking about people, I do believe it’s a lot more dangerous here in Lübeck if the Schellbruch area is swampy and flooded. Continue reading Wooden Path

Tree Trunks

Here is another winter themed photo. I took the photo when I walked through a small forest in Reinfeld. They mark different trees with a spray can and decide which one they will log off. Not sure how they decide but it’s good that they don’t cut down the whole forest. They just pick out individual trees. I saw signs that explained the spray markings, but I can’t remember anymore what the different signs mean. Continue reading Tree Trunks

Route to Hamburg

I was standing on a barely used country road and the railway gates were opened, which means there was no train to be expected. On top of that I was extra careful, because people can pass this point and I didn’t stay much longer than a pedestrian would do. I like photos with leading lines, that make your eyes wander to a certain point in … Continue reading Route to Hamburg
