Above is a photo that I shot some time ago in Reinfeld. It can be a bit swampy around the Herrenteich. That’s why they did build a wooden path there. There are also boards with information’s about the swamp and that it’s a habitat for certain animals and insects. So, I do think the wooden path is not just there to protect people, but also to protect the habitat. Talking about people, I do believe it’s a lot more dangerous here in Lübeck if the Schellbruch area is swampy and flooded.

Yeah, I love that area a lot. Can be even more mysterious if it’s very foggy, which is often the case there especially in the morning. 🙂

Haha yes 🙂 One day I’ve been there in the evening during sunset and I heard wild boars around me… I thought “Nope!” and went home xD
