Reinfeld during Winter

Here is a photo that I shot during a Winter in Reinfeld. It’s not the entire town but some houses near the Herrenteich pond, which is frozen and full of snow in the picture. I’ve taken a similar photo when the pond was not frozen but it’s not the same view. I hope you liked the winter picture. I wasn’t too happy with it at first but when I boosted the white colors and after cropping it a little bit better, I thought it looked fantastic. What do you think about the photo? Minimalist Scene

This photo was shot when I was in Reinfeld. The fields of rape looked gorgeous in full flower. There was also a lot of deer. There have been moments where I didn’t trust my eyes because the head of a dear popped out of the field. But usually, I wasn’t fast enough to take the photo. But these moments were beautiful nonetheless and I really needed those moments because beside them, the reason why I was there was pretty sad as my uncle got terminal ill at that time and died later. Reinfeld Landscape

The photo at the top was shot in 2016 but I haven’t uploaded it as I shoot way too many photos. So, I am doing it now. The photo is a really great example of why I liked Reinfeld. The landscape there has a lot to offer. Small forest areas, ponds, brooks, grassland, farmland, fenlands, and more. It was also a great place for bird photography. Talking about landscapes, we have many other interesting places surrounding our city. Continue reading Reinfeld Landscape

Forest Path

Some of you might know, I love taking photos of beautiful paths I discovered during hikes, and I already uploaded quite a few photos of paths. So, at the top is a new one. At least a freshly uploaded photo because I actually shot the photo back then in 2016. The photo was taken when I walked through a forest in Reinfeld. It was a calm place surrounded by beautiful nature. I already uploaded a similar photo here. Continue reading Forest Path

Route to Hamburg

Above is a photo that I shot in Reinfeld. These train tracks go from Lübeck over Reinfeld where I shot the photo, to Hamburg and so on. And nope, I didn’t put myself in danger. I was standing on a barely used country road and the railway gates were opened, which means there was no train to be expected. On top of that I was extra careful, because people can pass this point and I didn’t stay much longer than a pedestrian would do. I like photos with leading lines, that make your eyes wander to a certain point in … Continue reading Route to Hamburg
