Little Black Cat

Today I walked through one of the local garden areas, because I wanted to take photos of birds. But it came different, I didn’t really take much bird photos. But as you can see in the image above, I found a cat on my way, a very little black cat. It was funny, because it wanted to cross the path from the hedge on the right to the left. I was as surprised as the cat, and I was calm to get the photo. After that the cat crossed the path and disappeared behind the hedge on the left that … Continue reading Little Black Cat

Sunburned

It’s been insanely hot again today in Northern Germany, or that’s at least how it felt. Today it was just 28 degree Celsius, but it felt much hotter than that. We had a couple of these days already and as you can see in the image above, most of the grass here suffered already from the heat and drought. In the evening we got a bit of wind, and it didn’t really cool down, but wind at least makes it bearable. That’s usually also the time where I go running, and after that I can’t await the shower, it feels … Continue reading Sunburned

Forest Plants

Above is a photo that I shot during my time in Reinfeld. I liked the small forest areas a lot, especially in May when all plants started to grow. When I hiked through the forest areas on small paths, I did enjoy to look at the growing plants on the sides. I am not sure how the plant in the picture above is called, but I saw this everywhere on my way through the forest. Continue reading Forest Plants

Dreamy

Today I saw my cat on the white blanket of my couch, and I thought she would look very dreamy and relaxed. When you don’t have your camera near you, you’re afraid that you could miss the shot but thankfully she was still in that position when I got my camera from the other room. I didn’t edit the image a lot, it’s a nice portrait in my opinion. I just changed the crop a bit and then I added a bit of clarity. I hope you liked the photo too. You can find more photos of cats on my … Continue reading Dreamy

Dog in Action

Here is a photo that I still had left over from last years shooting. It’s the dog of my cousin, and I must say her dog is very agile and playful. Great, because that allowed me to practice action photography. If you wonder about the person in the background, it’s the husband of my mother, equally agile as you can see (laugh). They played together. But the dog of my cousin is hard to stop. Continue reading Dog in Action
