Beautiful Porcelain Cat

My grandma has this beautiful porcelain cat lying on her heater. I remember my mother had similar porcelain cats in the past. I’d like to have one of these too as decoration for my living room, but as I have a real cat this would probably not remain as one piece forever (laugh). But a white porcelain cat wouldn’t fit to the colors of my furniture anyway because my cupboards are mainly in walnut or to be more exact in mahogany color. A Young Black-Headed Gull

Yesterday I went outside to hike a bit, because the weather was good except that it was still a bit dark and cloudy. But the day seemed to be much warmer and not too cold, which means hiking was enjoyable. However, it was a hike inside the city and along the Trave Channel and Trave River. Flower Pots In A Parking Structure

You don’t find a lot of colours in this cold season, but when you do, it’s a picture worth. One of the local malls has a quite huge parking structure, and that’s where I found the flowers that you can see in my photo. I used my 50mm lens to take the photo, because that’s the lens I had attached but this allowed me to highlight the foreground. Swimming Great Crested Grebe

Here is a photo of a great crested grebe. I cropped the photo quite a bit and it resulted in quality loss, but I wanted to show this bird anyway. I find them quite funny, because they do basically look like the punks under the birds. If you like to take a look, here is another photo of this species. Very Beautiful Swan

I am still not in the mood to go hiking, mainly because it was bitter cold outside over the last days. But I was pretty slow with my blog this month, and I really don’t want to get used to the laziness and looked through my photo library to see if I can at least share some older photos.
