The Gaming Industry And The Wrong Direction

Some of you know already that I really dislike the route that game developers go today. I mentioned it already a few times on my blog. And I am not really interested to keep my mouth shut, especially not if something did upset me. I try to hold a decent level on my blog but I also do not have problem to label crap things simply crap things. Today I will do that. One of the very modern crap things seen from old-school gamer point of view, are micro transactions and games that are solely developed to milk the cow … Continue reading The Gaming Industry And The Wrong Direction

Hilarious Spam Comment Examples Part 2

It´s some time ago when I introduced my series of Hilarious Spam Comment Examples. However, I just did start with one example at that time and didn´t go on with the series. One of the reasons is, because Akisment works very well and puts most of the spam comments into the spam folder. But I do also manually approve all comments and sometimes I still find spam. So, lets take another example… Above you can see a comment that got my attention. The person or bot did try to place this comment on one of my Luebeck articles. Sim City 5 Has Now An Offline Mode

Sim City 5, one of the most hated games out there, has now an offline mode after all. If you remember Sim City 5, it´s the game with horrible small maps that are even smaller than the maps of the prequel. Also when Sim City 5 came out, many people were angry due to the fact that the game has been unstable like hell and because there were so many bugs. Another reason why people did complain a lot, was that the game was only playable online and the developers said that an offline mode wouldn´t be possible as the … Continue reading Sim City 5 Has Now An Offline Mode

Steam Is Down And I Bet It´s Due To The Humble Bundle Weekly Sales

It´s charity time yet again and not only this, it´s bargain time for gamers too. The Humble Bundle is packed again, this time full with SEGA games and you can grab them and decide what you want to pay. The amount will go to the charity. But as often when gamers go crazy to get their Humble Bundle, Steam will suffer from it and goes down for a while. That´s at least my assumption as I experienced it several times when there was a bargain Humble Bundle. People want to activate all their activation keys they got from the bundle, … Continue reading Steam Is Down And I Bet It´s Due To The Humble Bundle Weekly Sales
