Another Fulfilled Dream – A Telecaster
You’re never done with guitars. I had two now, but I purchased a third. I always liked Fender guitars, especially Statocaster guitars, but also their Telecaster models. I played a lot on a Fender Stratocaster back then, it was the … Continue reading Another Fulfilled Dream – A Telecaster
Tiny Houses
Above is another old photo that I probably shot with a point-and-shoot camera back then. The photo is not really special, but I liked the tiny houses in it. The photo was shot somewhere near the historic district of Lübeck. I really wondered how it would look inside, because from the outside the houses look very small. You can find more pictures of Lübeck on my blog. Continue reading Tiny Houses
Farmer’s Cat
Above is a photo that I shot long before I owned a DSLR camera. It was either shot with a phone camera or with a point-and-shoot camera. We noticed this cat on a farm somewhere near Ratzeburg. The cats of farmers do probably look well fed because they can roam around freely, hunting mice and rats. I am not sure if this is true, but I’ve often heard that they have cats for that exact reason, they don’t want to have mice and rats on their farm. Maybe it’s true, I don’t know. Smile
When I hiked through one of the garden areas in my city, I noticed a large tire in one of the garden plots, but taking a look closer I also noticed a smiling sculpture beside it. I liked the sculpture and shot the photo above. Continue reading Smile
Abandoned Garden Shed

So, when I talk about garden areas in Germany, they are very common here and I don’t talk about gardens in front of any houses. What I am talking about are large areas where you find several hundred plots that citizens can rent. The thing is, some people live in apartment complex, others live in an apartment tower, which means they don’t have a garden in front of their home. And that is where the … Continue reading Abandoned Garden Shed
Little Black Cat
Today I walked through one of the local garden areas, because I wanted to take photos of birds. But it came different, I didn’t really take much bird photos. But as you can see in the image above, I found a cat on my way, a very little black cat. It was funny, because it wanted to cross the path from the hedge on the right to the left. I was as surprised as the cat, and I was calm to get the photo. After that the cat crossed the path and disappeared behind the hedge on the left that … Continue reading Little Black Cat
