A Nighthawk And A Cat Photo

Industrial Area Near The Wharf

Here is a photo that I shot at night in Lübeck. This is an industrial area near the wharf. The original photo was horrible but I thought it looked nice in black and white. I also added grain to the image because somehow it just worked for this image. Maybe because it was a noisy image anyway and the added grain looked a lot better than the original noise of the image. Fascinated by Raindrops

My cat Shyna is always fascinated by raindrops hitting the window. And since we have rather large windows (floor to ceiling) in the living room, it’s the perfect place for a cat to observe the world. The photo at the top was shot when she observed the raindrops hitting the window. I converted the image to black and white because the original colors were dull due to the bad light. Way Back to Top Form

The image at the top is an older photo of my cat Shyna. But I thought I do a small update about her. As you know, she had a bad day after her surgery as she puked the entire day. Bridge in Black and White

Here is a photo of a bridge I shot in 2015. I am not completely happy with the framing as the ends of the bridge are cut too far, but I had to do it because there have been distracting tree stems on the side. I converted the photo to black and white because I thought it fits and because the colors in the original aren’t special.
