The wait is over, WordAds 2.0 was introduced today. If you never heard about WordAds, it’s the advertising program that allows bloggers at WordPress.com to earn a little extra income with their blogs by enabling advertising banners. Uncomfortable Feeling With More Than One Blog


I must admit that it feels very uncomfortable to write on more than one blog. It´s like there is a barrage. I really dislike it that I now always have to make the decision where I want to publish my content. I created my other blog to write down my technology stories over there and to swap this subject from this blog to the other one in the future. About The Blog Smilies…


WordPress.com users and bloggers can use smilies in articles but also in the comment section of a blog. I like that pretty much because it adds some emotions and fun to a discussion. But I wish it would be possible that we bloggers could replace them with our own images. That would allow us to create own sets of smilies for our blogs. It wouldn´t be anything else than replacing the smilies with different images in the settings and that makes me wonder why we still don´t have this option. So, today I discovered the RSS Reader, Feed Reader or News aggregator called Feedly. After testing Feedly I must say that it is really a good tool for syndication of web content. In my opinion it has a really great usability on both platforms… desktop via browser or on mobile devices via application. I used the same google account (there are also different methods) on both platforms. Did you know the “Top Posts & Pages” Widget? I never noticed it! Great Widget for Photography Blogs but not only!


I found something in the WordPress.com Dashboard under “Appearance” and then under “Widgets” which might me interesting for those WordPress.com Users who run their own Blog as a Photography Blog or for those who add Images to their own Blogposts very often. But also for those who just publish Text Content without Images. I found this nifty Widget called “Top Posts & Pages”. You can add it to your Sidebar on your Blog and it will basicly show your Top Posts. You can decide how many Top Blogposts or Top Photoposts the Widget should show.
