What Kind Of Insect Is This?

To be honest, I am not sure what kind of thing this insect on the photo is. My mother took the image when they drove to the campsite in Salem last weekend. I wrote several times about Salem here on my blog and this place is near Ratzeburg and Mölln. Or in other words, round about 30 kilometers south from Lübeck where we live. Leafhoppers on a Rhododendron? I think it´s a Rhododendron or?

I noticed these Leafhoppers on a Plant when I visited my Grandma and Grandpa in the Nature on their Campground in Salem Germany. I am not sure about the Plant. When I remember right, my Grandpa said it is a Rhododendron. What do you think? I am right? Is it a Rhododendron? EDIT: Big thanks goes to Alice… She gave me the Information that the Plant is definitely a Rhododendron. Grandma and Grandpa invited us on Saturday for Barbecue on the Campground

On Saturday my Mother, her Husband and his Son and me were invited to the Nature in Salem. We planned this spontaneous like I mentioned here as Grandma and Grandpa invited us to have some Time together while eating Strawberry Pie and to cook with the Grill. A Photo of the Sea in Salem

Near Ratzeburg in Germany there is a Village called Salem. But all around the Village is a lot of Nature and a Camping Site direcly surrounded by a lot of Fields, Forests and Seas. The Photo above is the Sea called “Salemer See”. It´s beautiful Nature there. I will upload some more Photos of that Place time by time.
