I purchased my Nikon 50mm prime lens because I liked the fact that you can play with depth of field and bokeh according to different sources. On my DX sensor, 50mm are effectively seen 75mm, that means I thought this would also be a nice lens to try portrait photography and this is true. I visited my mother and her husband yesterday, they were eating and there was still enough leftover and I got a plate too. Of course, when something looks so delicious, I take a photo. I had potatoes, goulash, red cabbage and a tasty sauce on the plate. I’d say this is a very typical German combination. We often eat potatoes, as same as red cabbage and goulash. Oh, I guess it’s been a long time since I posted pictures of food. Above you can see a fast food dish that I do really like. It’s easy to make and extremely mouth-watering. Just put french fries in the oven or even better, use a deep fat fryer. Roast the cevapcici meat in a pan, and if everything is done, just open a box of cabbage salad and tzatziki. In summer there is nothing that can beat a fresh salad, well, maybe ice cream can, but a salad gives you the same joy. Not that I live very healthy, I don’t really take care what I eat, but salads are simply the perfect dish for summer days.
