My uncle liked dogs, and I still have photos of them. The dog in the photo above was called Jacko and I think it was a labrador. I went with the black and white style because the colors were boring. But I liked the dog portrait in black and white. Continue reading Dog Snapshot
Here is a photo of my uncles dog, she is called Emmi. I am not completely happy with the photo, but it’s also not a photo I would delete. I like the close-up shot, but I am unhappy that I did not frame it well, I’d prefer it if I would have shot it so that you can see a little bit more of the neck. The background is a bit distracting in one area, especially the bright area beside her right ear. But photography is about practicing and improving, and I take a look at the issues to take … Continue reading Emmi Portrait
This Friday, the WordPress Photo Challenge is about fun. I’d like to show off a photo that I shot last summer. I wish we could hang out like that again, but his brain tumor … Continue reading Weekly Photo Challenge: Fun

I would call the photo in this post a snapshot, a term that I usually use for my photos when I just did press the shutter button to see how the photo turns out. But the thing is, with animals, you can just mindless click the shutter button, subjects like dogs or … Continue reading Weekly Photo Challenge: Opposites
Here is another dog photo. I shot the photo of Charlie at the same day I shot the photo of Emmi, and the photo with both of them. They both love my mother’s garden, because they can play and run on the lawn. As always, I have shot more photos than I can upload, but it’s always good to have some in the backhand for a later time. You can expect more dog photos in the future. Continue reading Happy Charlie
