Grilled Wienerwürstchen

Above you can see a sausage that we call “Wiener Würstchen” here in Germany and I think the English name is “Vienna sausage”. You can eat this sausage raw but usually people boil it and this is tasty too. But even as a German, it was new to me that some Germans do actually grill this sausage. The husband of my mother was born in East Germany and he told me that they usually did grill the “Wiener Würstchen”. Trave River, Historic District And Cathedral of Lübeck

I think it´s some time for some other stuff. While I still have many photos of my cat that I want to upload, especially from the new photoshoot, I thought it would be a good idea to upload some different photos I shot over the last weeks. Weekly Photo Challenge: Monument

For the Monument Photo Challenge, I thought there would be no better subject in Lübeck than the Holstentor which is called Holsten Gate in english. I uploaded already a photo of the Holstentor some time ago for the photo challenge with the motto grand. But the gate fits yet again to the new challenge. I mentioned it already in an earlier article but I couldn´t talk about fact apart from the perceived shift in my circles. I said that many people bought the Threema app to replace the by Facebook acquired messenger WhatsApp. The Swiss startup Threema promises that it´s messenger app offers real end-to-end encryption and therefore real security and privacy. German elections 2013 and the non-voters…

Ok now I do remind what was one of many reasons I started to write in a blog. Gettings annoying things out of the head. Tomorrow is German election and I had a talk with a non-voter today.
