Battlefield 5 Beta Domain Bought By EA

There were rumors that Electronic Arts bought a new domain name for the Battlefield 5 Beta. The rumors came from a user of the NeoGAF forums. But maybe we shouldn´t call it rumors as it is not wrong that EA bought the domain. But it´s questionable if the intention was to link the domain to an upcoming Battlefield 5 beta website. The mentioned domain (battlefield5beta.com) was a scam and fake site since January and it might be that EA took the domain to prevent that another fraudulent person would register the domain again. The intention could be indeed to stop … Continue reading Battlefield 5 Beta Domain Bought By EA

Hilarious Spam Comment Examples Part 3

Considering that there is not much comedy on my blog, apart from my Memes maybe, I thought that some spam comments are so amusing, that they could spice up my blog with humor. I am not sure at this point, but this is the reason why I created the Hilarious Spam Comment Examples series. Above you can see one great example and this comment got for sure my attention. And Again… Steam Servers Are Down

No joke, the Steam Servers are horrible at the moment. It happens every day that you can´t login to the Steam Cloud with the client and that you get the message “Could not connect to Steam network”. Sometimes it works and later it works not. I am not the only one with the problem. Users on Reddit reported as well that they have issues to log in. It really happens everyday at the moment. I am not sure whats wrong there. Are they constantly under DDoS attack or are the servers too busy to be able to handle the logged … Continue reading And Again… Steam Servers Are Down

Twitter At-Replies Will Be Phased Out Soon.

Vivian Schiller, head of news at Twitter, mentioned during the Newspaper Association of America’s mediaXchange conference, that they work on methods to move the @replies to the background. They do still test different methods but it looks like they would replace it just with the way how it works on Facebook. Instead of using the at-sign to reply to a user, you can use the user names there. This is probably the way how it will work on Twitter soon too. Check out the more detailed news on BuzzFeed. Cats Love Mobile Games Too

Kotaku posted something that got my attention. They shared a video from YouTube where cats play a game called Fruit Ninja on tablets. It is basically a game where you can slice fruits. Agree, that does sound boring but for cats it must be a lot of fun. That´s at least how it looks like… (Edit: I added another interesting video to my post as the old one disappeared) I know there are even mobile games or let me say tablet games, that are specifically developed for cats. Fruit Ninja is not one of these games but I saw other … Continue reading Cats Love Mobile Games Too

Atari Disgraced On Twitter Due To The RollerCoaster Tycoon Announcement

It´s a trend to boil up games of the good old days and it wouldn´t be bad but the ingredients are tasteless. Developers of today love it easy. They take one of their licenses, I mean the popular games, the brands with a very good reputation and create a remake based on that name. The only difference is that the old games were pretty awesome and the new ones often will be silly. I hope I did put it straight enough. Atari has a big fan base due to their RollerCoaster Tycoon titles from the past. Now, Atari announced that … Continue reading Atari Disgraced On Twitter Due To The RollerCoaster Tycoon Announcement
