Reinfeld Landscape Retro Photo

I found one photo in my library that I shot in Reinfeld, and I was quite happy with the landscape scene but not with the overall quality of the image. I wondered if I could still create something with it, and I got the idea that I could try some of the retro effects of Silver Efex Pro 2. Bad Schwartau Landscape

Here is a random snapshot that I took during my hike through Bad Schwartau. The day was cold and it was quite foggy, but I removed the haze in Photoshop as it was too much. The sky looked boring even after decreasing haze, and I came up with the idea to add a gradual filter to make the sky look darker, as if there would be an upcoming storm or something. Forest Path

If you’re regular reader of my blog, you might have noticed that I like to take pictures of paths. I am not exactly sure why, but I do like some ways so much that I just take the picture. I think it’s also about the landscape on the left and on the right, or the weather conditions that can make a scene look interesting. Weekly Photo Challenge: Landscape

The recent WordPress Photo Challenge is about landscapes. I was outside yesterday and shot the photo you can see in this post. It’s a pond called Herrenteich in Reinfeld. It’s a great place to hike, I liked the place during the winter, but now that the season is changing, I like it even more. I find a lot of birds there, there are many fields and smaller forests and beautiful trails near the pond, it’s a calming place. Since I am here, only really bad weather could hinder me to go out.
