Today it was so hot, it was maddening in my living room. My whole apartment warmed so up that it was actually a better option to go outside, even if it was hot outside too, but at least I could breathe there. I thought I go hiking along the Trave Channel but that can be beautiful too. I hiked about 14 miles and apart from enjoying the fresh air of the water, I saw beautiful scenery on my way. Above you can see a shot that I have taken during my time in Reinfeld. The landscape was a mix of small forests, fields, fenlands and ponds. I liked it during winter, but when springtime changed the landscape, I was even more impressed. Above is a photo that I shot somewhere in Lübeck during my hikes. I like the image because it’s somehow framed on a minimalist way. It’s just the beautiful green field in the foreground and a village or district in the background. It’s maybe the line that divides both that makes me like the image. The sky was almost plain blue, but I edited it on a way that you can see the clouds because the plain color was boring. Above you can see a photo that I shot outside of Lübeck, to be more exact around Bad Schwartau. I liked the landscape, the tree, the field and the little hunting outpost that is visible. However, the resulting photo was bad because there was too much haze in the photo. A bit of haze is good but this was too much and made the image look kinda flat and I didn’t want to use a digital de-haze filter because I thought a black and white effect could look good.
