If you’re regular reader of my blog, you might have noticed that I like to take pictures of paths. I am not exactly sure why, but I do like some ways so much that I just take the picture. I think it’s also about the landscape on the left and on the right, or the weather conditions that can make a scene look interesting. The photo in this post was taken last December during a hike through a small forest in Reinfeld.
This would make such a nice book cover. Beautiful ~
Thank you. This book cover would probably make me curious about the book’s story.
I also love taking pictures of paths. Guess it’s all about the journey….
Yes, I think that’s it… these pictures remind me where I hiked. Taking a picture of the path is like bringing the experience home and saving the memories twice, in my head and digitally on the computer 🙂
Maybe you are still searching the right path for yourself..? 😉 Great shot, anyhow!
I think that would describe myself very well… It’s even visible on my blog where I mix so much topics in one bag without a clear direction 🙂
I am a lot like that too. A typical Gemini. 😉
Paths are a thing. I think we all like to take pictures of paths, especially along rivers and through woods. There’s something symbolic about them that carries extra meaning. And this is a very good path! Lovely!
Yes, as I am from the city and as I can’t be all the time in the nature, these photos are also like souvenirs of the nature that I want to bring home. That’s how I can take a look again, maybe even remind and decide to go hiking there again. It’s funny, I don’t have to write it down, just taking a look at the photos and I would find the place on Google Maps… that’s probably what photography is about too, memories that you can connect. Sometimes one photo is not enough, but taking a look at the photos in the same row and I start to remind myself of how the day was when I took the photos, and even small details come to my mind. 🙂
That’s a great photo. I think a path leads the eye into the picture.
Yes, I think the path in the middle is a leading line in photography.
I took a photography class in 1987 and still remember learning about how certain things can lead you into a photograph.
I’d be interested in a photography class too to learn about composition and so, but the local courses seem to be quite expensive in my opinion. Fortunately there is so much content about photography in the web today, I do like these expert photographers with their channels on YouTube, there is a lot of information’s to be taken too 🙂
Online classes were not an option when I took the class but I will say that it is enjoyable to be learning with a group of people that you can share your experience with.
Yes, I guess the socializing aspect is a big plus when you participate in local courses.
