New Black And White Kitty Photo


Didn´t upload photos of Shyna for a while. Found the image above in my folders. The photo must be two months old or so. I edited the image with Photoshop. I added lens blur around her and a vignette effect. I also did add a black and white gradient map to make the image look monochromatic. There are maybe too much highlights where the white fur is but other than that, I really like the image. What do you think? Continue reading New Black And White Kitty Photo

Just One of Many Bridges In Lübeck


Above you can see one of many bridges of Lübeck and the Trave River that I mentioned quite often here on my blog. The image was pretty overexposed and I fixed this at least a little bit. I removed a lot of highlights but it didn´t make me happy so that I decided to add a black and white gradient map to get a slightly monochrome image. Black And White Cat, Slightly Monochrome


When I took photos of my cat Shyna, she started to play with the strap of my digital camera. I really had to laugh but at the same time I realized that it would be the chance to get some funny shots. My Cat And A Black Background


I have chosen one of my cat photos and loaded it with Photoshop. I wanted to get rid of the background behind my cat Shyna. I also changed the whole image to black and white because recently Leanne´s Monochrome Madness Challenges and her participants inspired me to experiment. Ok, I must admit that black and white effects have not much of an effect if your subject in the photo is a black and white cat and if you recolored the whole background to black too, but it´s still somewhat interesting.
