Busy Streets in the Evening


Here is a handheld photo I shot in the evening in Lübeck a while ago. I almost deleted the photo but I changed my mind when I converted the image to black and white. I did that because the colors were dull and the handheld shot was pretty blurry as you can see if you look at the cyclists. But that does somehow look good in black and white, because it’s like the movement of the cyclists becomes visible. I also like the lighting in black and white. Night Photography: Music and Congress Hall


The picture at the top was shot at Trave river and it shows our Music and Congress Hall (Musik und Kongress Halle Lübeck) which we also just call (MUK). As the name implies, it’s a building where conferences are held and often there are also concerts, parties and stuff like that. Beautiful Lamp


Ok, when I am already at it uploading some photos with lights, here is another one. I am pretty sure I shot the photo when I got my 50mm lens and wanted to test it. I visited grandma and had my camera and the nifty fifty with me. There is always a beautiful decor in her apartment. She also likes Tiffany lamps and honestly, I find them beautiful as well.
