Grandpa´s Birthday Cake

We visited grandpa today as it is his birthday. We had a nice talk and enjoyed his day while eating some cakes. One of the cakes is called “Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte” and the cake is called Black Forest gateau in english. The other cake is a “Erdbeer-Rolle” which could be called “Strawberry Roll” translated in english. Pretty tasty cakes! Weekly Photo Challenge: Unexpected

With the photo above I want to participate to the Weekly Photo Challenge: Unexpected. This is a shot with my smartphone and the quality is not great as the lighting conditions were bad. I Borrowed Grandpa´s Vantage X-99 Guitar

I borrowed grandpa´s rare guitar of the Vantage label. It´s a Vantage X-99 guitar. Matsumoku in Japan produced the guitar in the 70´s or 80´s but I am not sure. The X-99 was one of the Vantage top models. I can remind that I played on grandpa’s X-99 guitar many times when I was a teenager. He had also a 1974 Fender Stratocaster and it was always hard to decide which one I would like to play for some hours. DIY Smartphone Tripod

I bet you wouldn´t know if I would not tell you what the object on the image above is. The Photoshop Frog…

A friend posted a funny photo on Facebook. She lives in a basement flat and has one of these deepened basement windows with a grid where rainwater flows in or where smaller leaves can fall in. Played with Photoshop… My Cat Has Now Blue Eyes

Sometimes boredom is not too bad. Sometimes it will make you do thinks you didn´t for a long time. In my case it made me play with Photoshop today. I was looking for photos on my computer and found a few not so good photos and wanted to test out what I can do with them in Photoshop.
