Wild Goose Close-Up

Here is a photo that I shot yesterday. There is a pond in one of the parks and I found wild gooses and they came pretty close. So, I managed it to take some close-up photos. I also saw fledglings that I could photograph. I will upload these photos later or another day. I also had a bit of small talk with strangers who watches the birds too. I even chatted with another photographer. Continue reading Wild Goose Close-Up

Lonely Crow

A photo of a lonely crow on a field. While the photo is not extremely special, I do however like minimalist photos with not too much things going on in the image. I shot the photo during a hike through a small forest, and outside of the forest was the field you see in the picture. I saw that crow and decided to take a photo at 300mm, which is why it somehow looks compressed. But as said, I like that. I hope you too. There are more photos of birds on my blog. Another Sparrow

I already shot several photos of sparrows, but I thought I upload another one. It’s maybe not the greatest photo, but also not one I would want to delete because the sparrow is still clearly visible. Especially with birds it can be a challenge when they are up in the trees or in a bush, but I still like to try to get a good shot. That is also the … Continue reading Another Sparrow

Baltic Sea Swans

Here is a snapshot that I shot sometime ago when I hiked somewhere between Timmendorfer Strand and Travemünde. I saw two swans playing in the Baltic Sea water. It’s both amazing, when they land or when they take off. I always though they are pretty playful, in Reinfeld for example I was standing on a bridge and some swans flew over my head as if they wanted to show their flying skills. This together with the white plumage makes them look majestic. There are more photos of swans on my blog if you like to see some other images. Continue reading Baltic Sea Swans

Common Blackbird

Not much to say about the photo above, apart from the fact that it is a Common Blackbird. We have them everywhere flying around in our districts. Currently I do more sports than hiking, and when I just roam around in our city districts, I shoot more common photos, like common birds, cats and stuff like that. Two days ago I was running again and was totally mad when I saw this grey heron with a fish between the beak. Of course I don’t have a camera with me when I go run. But maybe I shouldn’t complain, because I … Continue reading Common Blackbird
