Beautiful Lamp


Ok, when I am already at it uploading some photos with lights, here is another one. I am pretty sure I shot the photo when I got my 50mm lens and wanted to test it. I visited grandma and had my camera and the nifty fifty with me. There is always a beautiful decor in her apartment. She also likes Tiffany lamps and honestly, I find them beautiful as well. Chain


Today I visited my mother and her husband in the garden. And of course, I had my 40mm lens with me. I saw this chain on a workbench and since I like metal things, I took a photo. I really love this lens a lot, because it makes me shoot very different photos compared to what I’ve done previously. I can now take close-up photos of things again, that was something I liked to do with my point-and-shoot camere back then, or with my phones where minimum focus distance has not been a huge issue. My Little Cousin Shot This Photo


My 13 years old cousin asked for it, she wanted to try my DSLR camera, and I allowed her to take a photo and you can see the result above. My little cousin is quite agile, so, I did take care that she wouldn’t drop the camera, and I explained her some of the buttons and how the lens works. Weekly Photo Challenge: Boundaries


The recent Weekly Photo Challenge is about boundaries. The boundary you see in my photo is a protective barrier for the railroad network. I think it has two functions, stopping people to cross the rails and noise-insulation. What I like about the wall is that it’s not an ugly wall, I like how it’s overgrown with plants, we have other more ugly protective barriers in our city, but this one is quite beautiful in my opinion, what do you think?
