Two attempts to photograph a Blowball

I did try to capture this Blowball here with my digital camera. I had to search the translation from german to english for the Name of the flower. I found some entries. Do you call the flower a Blowball or rather Dandelion Seed Head in english? I think the blurring in the background is a little bit to hard but I couldn´t get another result with my cheap digital camera. What do you think? An awesome Photo of a Hoverfly sitting on a beautiful Flower

My Mother did shot this Photo and I think it is an impressive Photo of a Flower with an Insect which is either sucking Food from the Leaves or seeking for Blackflies. I am not sure. However, this is an Insect which is very common here in North Germany in Summer (I bet you can find them not only in Germany, I am not sure) and this Insect if very active from April to August I think. I guess this Insect is called Schwebefliege (Howerfly). We love to grow because the wet Soil…

I did shoot this Photo while walking on a Trail near the Trave River in Lübeck. I decided to call the Blogpost “We love to grow because the wet Soil…” because the Angle of the first Photo is somewhat cool. I focused anyhow the Plants but also the River. I was very happy with the Result of this Photo when I downloaded it to my Computer after the Walk. I think it is a good Photo for a Beginner with cheap Equipment. The little Mosquito Boraras and Schrimps Tank cleaned and redesigned

More informations about the Mosquito Boraras Fish here. I was bored today and thought I should use the Time to collect a few Plants out of my bigger Fish Tank so that I can plant them in my little Mosquito Boraras and Schrimps Tank. I noticed a dead Schrimps then in the little Tank but that is another Story.
