Gaming News: ArmA 3 Release Date delayed to 2013…

I lately mentioned that the ArmA 3 Release Date is set to the fourth Quarter of 2012 but there is a bad news for those who thought that ArmA 3 would still be released 2012. The Release Date is delayed to 2013. Thats what GamesRadar wrote. It seems that Bohemia Interactive didn´t have enough Time to finishthe Game for 2012 so that they decided to move back with the Release Date to sometime in 2013. For sure, the Zombie survival Mod DayZ will be affected then too:

The new Project lead Joris-Jan van ‘t Land said:

“We’ve been in the process of implementing changes that will help us innovate as a studio under unexpected circumstances–facing problems we simply couldn’t have imagined,”

Two ArmA 3 Devs have been jailed in Greece because they did shoot Photos near a Military Base to get inspired for ArmA 3. They are still in Jail and this might be one Factor for the delayed Release Date too. They worked both on ArmA 3 and DayZ.

Van´t Land also said “”We’re still trying to make sense of the situation and hope that our colleagues will be released soon,” and “Although their plight has certainly affected us on a personal level, we continue working on the tasks identified as key to the release of Arma 3.”.

Bohemia Interactive plans to mention the new Release Date eventually in the first Quarter of 2013.
