DICE and EA and all the buyer of Battlefield 4 had recently a very rough start. The release of Battlfield 4 was everything else but not fine and there were many problems. The release was accompanied by many technical difficulties.

The recent news is that DICE now wants to show compensation to all players. From November 28 to December 5 players will get double XP bonus. That counts for players of all platforms.

DICE general manager Karl Magnus Troedsson mentioned “We understand that the launch issues may have impacted your progression, and we want to do everything we can to help you get back the XP that you may have lost, You are the heart and soul of Battlefield, We thank you for your support in these early days of the launch, and will continue to show our appreciation as time goes on.”

Players who logged in to the game in the double XP week, will additionally get a M1911 3x pistol scope which was actually reserved DICE developers only.

I wonder if BF4 players will be satisfied with this kind of compensation. I think a free game from the origin store would be a better compensation. Also there are still many players talking about technical difficulties and new bugs.
