In this post you see a photo of a tree with a very beautiful blossom. Not sure when I shot the photo, probably a month ago or so, but I find the blossom of this tree very interesting. I am not sure what kind of tree this is, but I like it pretty much. Do you like this tree too?
Looks like a hyacinth to me. Lovely and smells rather nice too!
I asked Google Picture search, but then it would be a flower I think? This one was a tree or a bush 🙂 But yes, the blossom definitely looks similar 🙂
Google LILAC and see if the foliage corresponds. It looks like lilac to me. They are bushes, but can grow large and look like trees. Hyacinths are low flowers, from bulbs, they grow singly, close to the ground and look waxy. Not a hyacinth for sure. Beautiful photo.
Thank you 🙂
Google syringa persica. It is the Latin name of lilac.
You always have the answer about plants 🙂 I think you are right, I asked Google, the foliage and blossom does look exactly like on my picture… I believe you are right with syringa persica 🙂
It’s very pretty Dennis, I was guessing lilac too but I’m no plant expert. I’d like some of this in my garden when we get to the choosing new plants stage of fixing it up.
I always have my trouble with plant names too, but after checking what Vera wrote, I do now think too it might be lilac. This is definitely a beautiful looking tree, I am pretty much sure they would embellish every garden, go for it! 🙂
