I Wish You Happy Holidays

Where on earth did the time go? It’s Christmas time again! My little cousin thought I should take a photo of a Christmas glitter ball and I accepted the challenge and asked her to illuminate the ball from the top with the flashlight of my smartphone for some extra glitter. I like the result and it’s the perfect photo to wish you all Happy Holidays! So, here we go. Of course it has always been my opinion, but this year has shown me again that there is nothing more of value than health. All I wish for my family and … Continue reading I Wish You Happy Holidays

First Winter Hikes

As I mentioned, I moved temporary to take care of my uncle until he feels better, but that doesn’t mean that I have no free time, because his wife takes care too, and that means there is still enough time for myself. I know the village already, but I never checked the whole area and as someone who likes to hike, I thought it would be a good idea to do that. The place could be interesting in summer, there are lots of fields and farms, some smaller forests, and very small lakes. We have winter and everything should be … Continue reading First Winter Hikes

Gathering

The photo above is my entry to the recent photo challenge. I thought I could use one of my bird photos for the theme “gathering”, although I shot the photo by the end of summer. Some photo challenges do remind me to go through the photos which I didn’t upload yet. You can see cormorants in the photo, I found them when I walked through the Schellbruch preserve area outside of our city. I really like cormorants, they are very interesting birds. About The Third Day In Our Temporary Home

I want to write about my cat Shyna and the third day in our temporary home. At the time I write this, we are already here for five or six days, so, the reports about my cat are a little bit delayed. The third day was interesting, because my cat became curious about the other rooms. It was silent, because me and my cat were alone that evening. First she dared to check the small corridor in front of our room. The corridor leads to the kitchen, and the kitchen is connected to the living room, and there is a … Continue reading About The Third Day In Our Temporary Home

About The Second Day In Our Temporary Home

As I said in my first post about our new temporary home, my cat did rub her nose on the plastic of the transport box during the drive. You can see the nose injuries in one of the photos above, but it looks already a little bit better now and it will heal. When she started to explore our room the second day, I also noticed that she started to eat and drink and that is good, because she didn’t do that the first day as she was stressed. The are some small improvements. I also like that she doesn’t … Continue reading About The Second Day In Our Temporary Home
