A Cat I Saw In The Gardens

I was wandering along the trails where all the garden are to find new photo subjects. Then I saw a bicolor cat in one of the gardens. This bicolored cat was not really shy, came through the garden fence and stopped in front of me to say hello. The cat was also pretty chatty and it was cute to hear all the miaou. I Love Delicious Salads

My mother made a salad on her birthday barbecue party. I had to take a photo because I do not only like the colours of salads, I did also like the white colour of the salad bowl. Then I saw our red garden bench and the idea came up that a white bowl full of salad should look very cool with a red background. This is rather a scene I am proud of. European Herring Gull Enjoying The Rain

I shot the photo of the European herring gull yesterday when I drove to Travemünde with a friend. As mentioned in a previous post, it became rainy as soon as we arrived. It was a little bit sad because I wanted to take photos. Some say that you can use the D7100 in rain and others said you can damage the camera on this way. More Garden Flowers

I noticed I shoot more photos than I ever upload. That was already the case when I still used my point and shoot or smartphone camera, but it’s even more the case with the DSLR as I pretty much enjoy to be outside with the camera. First Garden Yields

On friday when we celebrated mom’s birthday in the garden, we also checked out how the garden plants are doing. We found the first radishes, we found three of them. Mom got one, her husband and I tested one too. Apart from the fact that I am a real fan of radishes, the garden radish tasted extremely good. The husband of my mother doesn’t like chemicals, he prefers to let the things grow on their own and you taste it. The garden radish was actually more tasty than those you get in the stores. Off-Season

I actually thought I couldn’t take any photo for the recent photo challenge with the motto Off-Season. But we have still very mixed weather in Northern Germany, it’s actually not really summer weather except for some good days.
