Beautiful Eurasian Blue Tit

Beautiful Bluetit Bird

Here is another bird photo. It’s some weeks ago when I found this Eurasian blue tit on a branch. It was cloudy and quite dark as you can see in the background, and sadly I was still too far away to fill the frame, which means I had to crop and the image quality suffered. There is sadly also chromatic aberration in this photo. Anyway, the scene is good and I like this bird pretty much. I see this one quite often as well, at least here in the nature, not so often in the city. While my Tamron 70-300mm lens is fun, I really would like to save money for a fast tele prime lens and a teleconverter, but maybe I get to this point in the future. For now, I am happy with what I have, but I still need to crop a lot to fill the frame. However, it’s not bad to have dreams, (laugh).

    1. Although this is JPG, I made it already brighter. I brightened the shadows for example. The original is much darker. I don’t work a lot in raw but I tried it once.

    1. Even if overcast is not the best condition to take photos with this lens, I noticed that I see more birds when it’s cloudy, it’s maybe because less humans walk near the park and the birds have more peace and then they are near the paths. 🙂
