Here is another bird photo. It’s some weeks ago when I found this Eurasian blue tit on a branch. It was cloudy and quite dark as you can see in the background, and sadly I was still too far away to fill the frame, which means I had to crop and the image quality suffered. There is sadly also chromatic aberration in this photo. Anyway, the scene is good and I like this bird pretty much. I see this one quite often as well, at least here in the nature, not so often in the city. While my Tamron 70-300mm lens is fun, I really would like to save money for a fast tele prime lens and a teleconverter, but maybe I get to this point in the future. For now, I am happy with what I have, but I still need to crop a lot to fill the frame. However, it’s not bad to have dreams, (laugh).
If you shot in raw an image that looks to dark can be fixed In Lightroom.
Although this is JPG, I made it already brighter. I brightened the shadows for example. The original is much darker. I don’t work a lot in raw but I tried it once.
You can lighten shadows way more in a raw file because the file holds more information than a jpeg can. 🙂 Have fun.
I should take a look again Sherry, thank you 🙂
Great to be able to find such a lovely bird. The experience really lifts up an ordinary day.
Even if overcast is not the best condition to take photos with this lens, I noticed that I see more birds when it’s cloudy, it’s maybe because less humans walk near the park and the birds have more peace and then they are near the paths. 🙂
Precious photos, greetings
Thank you 🙂
He is a very pretty bird. Maybe next time you’ll have the right lens and better light to work with. Even so, it’s a lovely little bird!
True, sometimes it is just about the scene and the subject, it’s still good that I have taken this photo 🙂
Lovely Dennis.. I love them visiting my feeder.. 🙂 Have a wonderful week..
That’s a good idea for the summer when we visit the garden again, I could place a bird feeder 🙂
