I like food photography, and yes, I am also one of those that first take a photo before they start to eat (laugh). There are tons of different ways to take photos of food, but sometimes I try to experiment. With the picture above, I tried to create a close-up image. This is a bit difficult if you don’t have a macro lens, mainly because of the minimum focus distance. But I got as close as I can, and I cropped the image so that it basically becomes a close-up shot. But the original is not bad either…

It’s fun, but I think a macro lens could work greatly for close-up food shots. Maybe some day I purchase one 🙂
