Headache From Learning, Trying To Understand C#

I am right now in the mood to write one of these diary entries. If you see the screenshot on top of my words, this is a small and very basic program written in the programming language C#, and all it does is showing the text message “Hello World” in the windows console. It’s one of the simplest things you can do with a programming language, and that’s how programming courses often start. You need to start somewhere, and often they use this small example to explain the basic structure of a program, until you get into more advances stuff. … Continue reading Headache From Learning, Trying To Understand C#

Time Out For My Legs: Adductor Muscle Strain On The Thigh

I just established a new category on my blog, I will call this one medical photography. You think I am funny? No, I am just bored. At the moment I have issues with my legs, I visited the doctor and he diagnosed adductor muscle strain. I got Iboprofen for the pain, and the friendly hint that it will go away in eight weeks and if I am lucky even earlier. So, since I can not go out at the moment, I thought I challenge myself to take a photo that describes my problem well. The strain started last week and … Continue reading Time Out For My Legs: Adductor Muscle Strain On The Thigh

Happy New Year!

I always visit my family for an hour before the new year starts, but after that I usually visited friends. Well, this time it was very different. I did send my greetings to the friends, but I celebrated only with my family. Today, we all wanted to celebrate with my uncle who got a terrible brain tumor diagnosis some time ago. In December 2015 we actually didn’t know that this would be his diagnosis, but I moved to him at this time to help him with his health issues. Today it really felt strange that this is already a year … Continue reading Happy New Year!

Have a nice time with your loved ones. I wish you all the best! Continue reading Happy Holidays!

A Couple in Love

Above you can see a photo of a gingerbread heart, I shot the photo today on the Christmas market in our city. On the right side you can see one with the text “Ich liebe Dich”, that means “I love you” in English. On the left side you see one with the text “Gib nicht auf” which means “Don’t give up”. But I don’t want to talk about this photo too much, I just thought it would fit to what I want to write next… Two strangers approached me today, it was a couple and they asked me if I … Continue reading A Couple in Love

Cringeworthy Scam Attempts

Scam emails are always cringeworthy and amusing. So, recently there are more and more scammers targeting domain owners. Seriously, that’s hilarious! Who is doing that? I mean, you must be an idiot if you think a webmaster would fall for a scam email. Whoever is sending out these emails, it must be an extremely dim person, or I am wrong and some people really fall for it. Most often I don’t even get scam emails as they land in the spam folder, but sometimes a few come through but I delete them right away, unless they are way too funny. … Continue reading Cringeworthy Scam Attempts
