Artsy Alley
I thought I continue and show you another photo that I transformed with effects until I liked the outcome. As said in the previous post, I haven’t had much time recently, which means some of my work was saved in my “to be uploaded” folder. I don’t like to have stuff in the queue, I am more of a “Do it now, not tomorrow” guy but sometimes you need to set priorities. But now there is a little more time and I upload some of the stuff to my blog. In the past, I have shot an interesting photo of … Continue reading Artsy Alley
Thuringia in Painted Look
A month ago or so, when I have experimented with painted looks and artsy effects, I also grabbed one of my older Thuringia photos. To be more exact, I took the one from this post. Then I also tried out all kinds of effects in Photoshop until I thought it was somehow interesting. I saved the file but didn’t find the time to upload it to my blog. Dark Horses
Recently, I don’t find a lot of time to edit images or update my blog but today I looked for a photo in my library to do at least a small update. I found the two horses four years ago in Reinfeld and immediately took a snapshot of them. There are other photos of horses on my blog if you want to see more. Continue reading Dark Horses

Often it reminds me of older computer games from times where developers and artists had to use fewer colors, either due to code or technical restrictions (C64, Amiga, early PCs, and so on). So, here I am, I still love it. Maybe because I grew up with the stuff and color reduced pictures make me … Continue reading Simplified Car
Kiez Katze
The image at the top is the result of a sleepless night. I basically experimented with the idea to reduce the number of colors in some of my photos. It all started with a cat photo I shot. I reduced … Continue reading Kiez Katze
Sunset in Travemünde
Last Sunday, my mother, one of her neighbors, and I drove to Travemünde as we wanted to stroll around near the water. When we walked back to the car, my phone showed that we walked 16 kilometers. That’s a good distance! Before that, her neighbor invited us to a coffee near the beach but I have chosen a cappuccino as I don’t drink coffee. It was a warm October day but the breeze at the Baltic Sea can be cold, so the hot drink was welcomed. On the way back to the car, we got rewarded with a wonderful sunset. … Continue reading Sunset in Travemünde
