Abandoned Boat
Above you can see a photo that I shot during a hike near the nature reserve Schellbruch. It’s a wrecked or abandoned boat. I like abandoned objects and structures, because the worn-out textures or the rust colours are very interesting. Also abandoned things remind me of dystopian science fiction movies, a genre that I really like. Continue reading Abandoned Boat
Bad Cold
While there is still summer outside, I’ve been sitting inside coming down with a cold. It basically started Thursday when I was shopping with my mother and I complained that I feel like I would have circulation problems. My mother said it would be no wonder since the weather was humid. So, I just thought I would have circulation problems but then when I woke up on Friday, my throat felt quite rough but still I didn’t believe that I would get a cold. But Friday evening it was clear, I started to sneeze like two times every five minutes, … Continue reading Bad Cold
Happy Black Dog
As I mentioned in this post, I had the chance today to take new dog photos. In this case it was the dog of my second cousin and I had great fun taking the photos. It’s a young dog and … Continue reading Happy Black Dog
Action Dog And Garden Fun
Today we went into the garden again, because it was planned to meet some other family members that we don’t see regularly. It was my grand-aunt, my grand-uncle, my second cousin and her little daughter. My second cousin did not only come with the daughter but also with her dog. Of course, the meeting was with “Kaffee und Kuchen” again, because this is how we network in the family, and it’s probably the equivalent of the British tea time. I am very sure that I destroyed my calorie balance today but sometimes you have to enjoy life. I say that … Continue reading Action Dog And Garden Fun
Playing Dart
I noticed that my mother and her husband have a dart board in their garden now. It’s been a while since I played dart and I challenged them to play it with me. I am out of practice but I improved again with each round. But of course I am a much better hobby photographer than a dart player and I wanted a picture of the darts with shallow depth of field or blurred background. My 50mm lens was attached and I like this lens for this type of photography, so that I shot the photo… Continue reading Playing Dart
Hats for Cats
I kid you not, the following was not staged. While I am very accurate with some things in my life, I am sometimes a chaos person too. Currently I don’t have a laundry bin, but even if I would have one, it would just animate me to collect dirty laundry. That’s at least what I experienced when I owned one of those larger laundry baskets that you can close with a basket cap. Yes, maybe a small one would be better but currently I prefer the chaos variant and collect a bit of laundry at the corner on my bed … Continue reading Hats for Cats
