Old Bridge

We have some really cool and old bridges in Lübeck, as the one in the picture above. You can also see the Trave channel in the picture. There are some really cool parks on the side and it’s fun to hike there during spring or summer. On the way you see both, nature but also manmade stuff like old bridges. And as you can see in the background, there are also restaurants where people hang out. The image above was quite foggy, but I removed it. The Bridge

I can’t tell you how often I walked over the footbridge in the image above. It must have been hundreds of times. Around the time when me and my friends were 20 years old, we did party hard. Every weekend and I don’t think we skipped one. We usually started at someones home, getting a couple of drinks but later we always went into a club. University of Music Lübeck

With the photo above I focussed on the bridge, but in the background you can see the University of Music in Lübeck. It was a random snapshot, because somehow I liked it that the bridge shows you the path. It was more of an experimental shot, trying something out. The bridge is there because between me and the university there is the Trave river, that also surrounds the whole historic district. There are different bridges to cross the river or channel. Weekly Photo Challenge: Bridge

The current WordPress Photo Challenge comes with the topic bridge. It’s funny, I really can’t tell you how much bridge photos I shot, I am not even sure why I do that, but I can tell you that I have tons of bridge photos.
