The WordPress Interface And Stats Issue And The Thread Closing Again

There have been many wrong design decisions here at wordpress.com recently and I wrote about it a few times. First they brought us the horrible new editor that we can fortunately still bypass. Next they did negatively change the top bar to the point until it was unusable. I also mentioned more critique here and ranted about the changes quite often. I usually dislike to rant but if something does impact my workflow negatively, I surely won’t mince words. When the new editor came up, there was a thread in the forums full of user concerns and we were fortunately … Continue reading The WordPress Interface And Stats Issue And The Thread Closing Again

This list will be mainly related to the WordPress.com community. This community is a great one. A powerful community with powerful tools. Daily Prompt: Something So Strong

Todays Daily Prompt topic is “best friends” as it seems. They write: “Tell us the origin story of your best friend. How did you become friends? What is it that keeps your friendship rockin’ after all these years?”. Well, first I would say that I not only have one best friend. I rather would say it in plural. I found my “best friends” a long time ago. We grown up together in a very rough neighborhood and maybe this alone made our friendship pretty strong. We experienced a lot of shit to be honest and learned early what solidarity means. … Continue reading Daily Prompt: Something So Strong

How Blizzard Continues To Harm World of Warcraft

I mentioned it already but I do it again, World of Warcraft is a pay-to-win game now in my opinion, and I can just laugh about Blizzard´s attempted explanations. But I will dig a little bit into the topic again. Isn´t it hilarious that developers of today prefer to care more about people who think that leveling is boring, and who didn´t even notice that the entire game has always been based on leveling? When we met those confused players in-game, we called them eBayers in the past. There were people who sold their World of Warcraft accounts on Ebay … Continue reading How Blizzard Continues To Harm World of Warcraft
